M2SYS Technology, TimeForge to Develop Biometric Time and Attendance Software
M2SYS Technology, a fingerprint biometrics research and development firm, reaches an agreement with TimeForge, a provider of web-based scheduling and time and attendance solutions to the hospitality industry. Through the terms of this agreement, TimeForge will be providing its customers with a seamless, integrated biometric identification system consisting of M2SYS fingerprint software and fingerprint readers.
TimeForge has successfully integrated Bio-Plugin WebServer, an enterprise-ready fingerprint software solution designed exclusively by M2SYS, into its web-based workforce management system, TimeForge.com. Unlike a low level fingerprint SDK, Bio-Plugin enables developers to rapidly integrate and deploy fingerprint biometrics technology without significant cost or effort. TimeForge will be providing the solution to its customers in the retail and hospitality industry who will use the biometric module for indisputable employee time and attendance calculations.
"Our customers already schedule their employees online, but many continue to use traditional time clocks to track when employees punch in and out at their business. The M2SYS biometric product allows our customers to easily track time and attendance data and compare it to existing schedules -- providing important and accurate payroll information," says Anthony Presley, founder of TimeForge. "By eliminating the need for passwords and employee identification cards, it should significantly reduce buddy punching, which will save our customers up to 5-7% of their annual payroll expenses."
