Great Wolf Lodge Improves Efficiency and Guest Experience with Mobile Platform
Enterprise mobility device provider Infinite Peripherals, Inc. (IPC) and StayNTouch Inc. created an innovative mobile platform that recently improved efficiency and enhanced the guest experience at Great Wolf Lodge resorts in Williamsburg, Va. and Fitchburg, Mass., with six additional resort locations being deployed soon.
“The StayNTouch and IPC mobile solutions have been a game-changer for our hotels,” said Rajiv Castellino, chief information officer of Great Wolf Resorts. “Our departments are now able to communicate more effectively and efficiently, allowing us to improve our overall service to our guests.”
The new mobile solution combines StayNTouch’s versatile cloud-based mobile PMS overlay software with IPC’s Infinea Tab M, which adds a barcode scanner, capable of reading 1D or 2D barcodes, and a magnetic stripe reader to iPad mini tablets. The Rover Front Office software includes RFID key encoding and credit card swiping for flexible check-in/out anywhere, enabling front desk staff to move out from behind the desk and directly engage with guests throughout the waterpark resort.
The Rover Housekeeping software gives housekeeping staff touch-optimized access to rooms-to-clean lists, real-time room status and guest information, along with the ability to update rooms after servicing, which has resulted in far improved communication, greater efficiency and faster room turns.
In addition to point-of-sale and operations, such as housekeeping, IPC’s compact, durable Infinea Tab M facilitates a variety of mobile enterprise functions, including inventory management, healthcare data access and labeling, ticketing and entry access, lead tracking, inspection/work flow, dispatch and time/labor. The Infinea Tab M comes with an option to connect to a portable receipt printer.
IPC also offers accessories including protective cases, pistol grips, holsters, wall mounts and stands that can be customized with company colors and logos.
