Angela Diffly, Co-Founder of Restaurant Technology Network (RTN) has been named a top Digital Disruptor in the restaurant industry by QSR Magazine.  

QSR Magazine's second annual Digital Disruptor Awards recognize change-makers and innovators in the restaurant technology industry who are “laying the blueprint for a more connected restaurant world.”

A Star is Born

In 2019, Diffly and Abigail Lorden, vice president and publisher of Hospitality Technology (HT), teamed up to launch Restaurant Technology Network (RTN), a membership community dedicated to technology innovation for restaurants. Diffly’s tireless efforts to bring standardization and collaboration to the industry are paying off. RTN Workgroups bring technology vendors and restaurant operators together to solve common industry problems, many of which have resulted in the industry’s first and only technology standards. They include: RTN’s Open API Framework, Menu Synchronization Specification, Customer Record Data and Transactional Data Standards, Restaurant Technology Capabilities Framework. Additional technical documentation, such as best practices and technical guidance, is also available.
