Partner-Tech Europe, TriniTEQ International Form Strategic POS Alliance

PartnerTech Europe GmbH, a supplier of fixed and mobile point of sale hardware, and TriniTEQ International Pty Ltd, a developer of handheld hospitality point of sale systems, have entered into a strategic alliance that spans product development, production and distribution on a global basis.

 

The agreement will see both companies collaborating to develop and produce new handheld POS offerings based upon Partner-Tech mobile POS platforms incorporating TriniTEQ’s RF WaiterPAD technology. Partner-Tech and TriniTEQ will jointly market and sell their combined products through existing and new distribution channels worldwide.

 

Partner-Tech products, such as the PT-6200 series and SP1000 POS terminals and OT-100 mobile POS, combine industry standard open platform operating systems and rugged yet stylish design. TriniTEQ’s WaiterPAD system is a complete handheld ordering system designed for hospitality. First deployed in Australia in 1999, WaiterPAD is used by thousands of major restaurants, bars, cafes, theaters and sporting venues around the world. It is a low frequency, long-range Radio Frequency (RF) system. The company boasts that WaiterPAD requires fewer wireless access points and reduces security risk by avoiding more commonly trafficked Wi-Fi frequencies.
