HT Accepting Restaurant Award Nominations: Deadline Extended
Hospitality Technology Magazine is pleased to announce that it is now accepting nominations for the fourth annual Breakthrough Awards to be presented at the 2008 Restaurant Executive Summit.
The Breakthrough Awards seek to honor restaurant companies for their outstanding achievement in increased business growth and innovation within the last year. HT is currently accepting nominations for the following three categories:
- Overall Technological Innovation: This award is presented to a company that has leveraged technology beyond standard practice, and has achieved proven results. Technologies can include both back-of-house and/or front-of-house implementations, as well as guest- and/or employee-facing technologies.
- Excellence in Guest Services: This category applies to companies who have demonstrated excellence in guest services, resulting in an increase in guest satisfaction, guest loyalty, and/or brand reputation. This excellence could be achieved, but is not limited to, advancements in operational strategies and procedures, improved workplace culture, guest loyalty and satisfaction initiatives, technology, and general best practices.
- Brand Growth: This category is awarded to the company who has experienced marked brand growth, brand awareness, and/or strategic brand repositioning within the past year and who shows the greatest growth potential in the industry.

Winners will be chosen and notified on or about August 4, 2008 and the awards will be presented at the Restaurant Executive Summit, September 17-19, The Four Seasons, Westlake Village (Los Angeles), California.
The Restaurant Executive Summit is an invitation-only event that brings senior-level executives from high-growth restaurant companies together to share-real world strategies for excelling in a dynamic business climate.
