Hotel Tech Forum To Address the Future of Lodging

4/2/2013
Hospitality Technology magazine's Hotel Technology Forum (HTF) will convene in Las Vegas April 17-19, 2013, at The Bellagio for three days of focused educational sessions and a wealth of valuable networking opportunities designed to help lodging executives focus on issues that are most critical to their businesses.

As the hospitality industry rebounds and responds to current social, economic and technological trends, the Hotel Technology Forum is an outstanding opportunity for lodging executives to stay ahead of the curve. The event brings together more than 125 high-level, hard to reach hotel executives for an exclusive leadership forum and relationship-building event. With an agenda tailored towards strategic insights and tactical analysis, the hands on nature of the Hotel Technology Forum offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities facing hotel executives today.

Educational session topics are centered around this year's Forum theme, Build for the Future: Tech Innovations for the New Frontier of Lodging, and include "Addressing the In-Room Tech Revolution," "IT Exec’s Primer for Prepping and Managing Sweeping Industry Change,” "Prepping for the Next Phase of Payment Security," and "The SoMoLo Solution for Next-Gen Hotels." Attendees will also have exclusive access to brand new landmark research -- the 2013 Lodging Study  -- which details the hottest trends and technologies affecting the lodging industry.

The opening keynote address, "Rethink the Future: Identify & Engage Tomorrow’s Traveler," will be presented by Jim Carroll, author, innovation & trends expert. The second day keynote speaker, Mike Blake, CIO, Commune Hotels & Resorts, will discuss how CIOs can prevent becoming obsolete in a session titled “Learn to Broker, Integrate & Orchestrate.”

In addition, during the first day’s general sessions, the 2013 Hotel Visionary Award winners will be announced. These prestigious awards celebrate true innovators in the areas of both customer-facing/in-room technology and back-office technology.
