E-Check In Allows Guests to Bypass Front Desk at Paris Luxury Hotel

Concorde Hotels & Resorts Group has launched Smart Way, an e-check-in/check-out system that aims to help busy travelers save time and hassle upon arrival. Based on the technology that has become an airport staple, the introduction of this new service is a first within the luxury hotel group allowing guests to check-in online anytime, anywhere and receive their room key the moment they arrive.
 
In an increasingly connected and busy world where every minute counts, guests can simply visit the Smart Way terminal in the hotel’s reception area, type in the code received via their smart phone during online booking and the room key is delivered. Checking out is just as fast: guests simply validate bills using a smart phone and the key can be left in the room.
 
The concept was developed by Ariane Systems, a company specializing in check-in/check-out solutions. Smart Way provides Concorde Hotels & Resorts Group clients with an additional service, a revolutionary, web-based concept that offers hotel clients a different kind of welcome - convenient, efficient and autonomous. The perfect plus for on-the-go guests, busy travelers and those who simply want a fast service.
 
Beginning as a pilot within the flagship Hotel Concorde La Fayette, the service is available for guests booking through the  site. If successful, the Concorde Hotels & Resorts Group plans to roll out the system throughout their hotel portfolio.
 
The introduction of Smart Way comes weeks after the successful launch of the hotel’s client loyalty program, “Concorde Privilege”, which enables guests to enjoy exclusive advantages during their stay (breakfast, upgrades, in-room services…), further bolstering the range of hotel services.
