Datum Technologies to Fully Manage IT Services for Earl Enterprises
Datum Technologies announced that it has been selected to provide fully managed IT services for the Earl Enterprises brands Buca di Beppo, Planet Hollywood and Earl of Sandwich. Earl Enterprises’ Orlando based corporate office as well as individual restaurant units throughout the United States now rely on Datum for operations and back office support and act as the entire IT department for the company.
Chief Marketing Officer Trish Giordano stated that Earl Enterprises made the decision months ago to outsource all of its IT to a company called Datum Technologies while addressing the innovation summit at this year’s FSTEC conference.
“We’ve been very pleased with the Datum team. Their business model has provided us with a lower cost solution, superior IT capabilities and the freedom to focus on serving our customers,” she stated.
The announcement came during a discussion on the cost benefits of leveraging a dedicated team of consultants, network engineers, project managers and IT professionals.
Datum runs both restaurant unit and corporate level IT for Earl Enterprises, including 24/7 – 365 support for point-of-sale systems, back office platforms, business intelligence and marketing platforms, corporate networking, corporate and restaurant telephony and other IT hardware and software. Additionally, Datum conducts new store openings and training across the country for both their company-owned and franchise units.
