The San Antonio Convention & Visitors Bureau has established a strategic marketing partnership with Cvent, a leading generator of group hotel business for the meetings and conventions industry. San Antonio has guaranteed top placement on the Cvent Supplier Network, as well as increased exposure throughout the Cvent Destination Guide with the purchase of a Cvent marketing package.
Thousands of meeting and event planners rely on the Cvent Supplier Network platform to send electronic group business RFPs to hotels and CVBs. "In today's market, we all have to expand our horizons and identify new opportunities to drive more group meetings business to our destinations and we feel confident in Cvent's ability to do just that. In fact, we have already been given the opportunity to bid on a 1,900-room-night RFP as a result of our partnership with Cvent," says Ronnie Price, San Antonio Convention and Visitors Bureau assistant executive director, sales and marketing.
