MacroView Labs Launches iPhone App for Event Planners to Improve Guest Experience

MacroView Labs, Inc., a developer of innovative mobile concierge apps, recently launched an event management platform for smartphones to benefit event planners at hotels, resorts, universities, festivals, museums and other organizations.

The new software will allow event managers to send news, music, video, special offers, meeting schedules and presentations directly to their guests' cell phones at any time. The platform works on all apps built by MacroView Labs, and is available to clients immediately. Guests can register for an event, see updated schedules, rate the venue or the keynote speaker, find their meeting room, or even play games like scavenger hunts, all through their phone.

MacroView Labs builds private-label apps for companies and institutions to brand and promote as their own. Organizations pay MacroView Labs a monthly service fee that covers development, hosting, licensing, technical support, upgrades and account management activities.

The new event package is one of multiple feature sets currently available from MacroView Labs. It was developed in close consultation with event planners and business travelers. The apps are accessible to any guest using an iPhone, a Blackberry, an Android phone or virtually any other smartphone.

Other features already offered by MacroView Labs include its revenue-generating "Mobile Point of Sale" package, allowing an organization to sell anything it wants to people via their cell phones, and the "Be Heard" package, which allows app users to send direct feedback to the property the second they have a question or suggestion.
