Luxury Hotel Group Uses Centralized System to Expand Reservation Delivery
Guestline has formed a strategic partnership with City and Country Hotels, providing integrated hotel management solutions to its portfolio of luxury properties, which are operated and managed by Bespoke Hotels.
City and Country Hotels has selected Guestline as its technology vendor of choice for The Wellesley London, its latest five-star development, and Number Ten Manchester Street, also located in London. The Royal Hotel in Cardiff and Wyck Hill House Hotel in the Cotswolds will follow in order to standardize technology platforms across this expanding portfolio of hotels.
The properties will be equipped with the Guestline Web-based Property Management System (PMS), incorporating functions such as Conference and Banqueting, Business Analysis Reporting, Sales Ledger and Rate Management. The Guestline PMS also comes with cross-selling functionalities, enabling selling to another property if the target hotel is full, which is essential to ensure all sales opportunities are maximized.
This was particularly important for The Wellesley, a luxury five-star London hotel set to become the group’s flagship property. The Wellesley required a PMS that could offer multi-property and cross-selling capability systems to enable direct communication with its sister London property, Number Ten Manchester Street.
City and Country Hotels will also install the Guestline Distribution Channel Manager which maximizes the yield potential of room stock by offering real time availability to all online sales channels; and the Guestline PCI (Payment Card Industry) Compliance solution, a unique system to prevent credit card fraud, meet banking demands and ensure a secure direct connection with the hotel’s PMS.
Being web-based, deployment of Guestline’s solutions is simple and removes the need to install servers on-site which is crucial for central London properties where floor space is at a premium.
