Kim Matlock Appointed Sr. Director, Digital & Consumer Related Marketing for Hard Rock

Hard Rock, one of the world's most recognizable and iconic brands, has named Kim Matlock as the senior director, digital and consumer related marketing for Hard Rock International, overseeing www.HardRock.com and the development and execution of strategies across web, CRM and customer response.

Matlock comes to Hard Rock International with a broad range of experience across a spectrum of disciplines, from marketing and sales to software development. Most recently, Matlock was marketing director, global events business management for Microsoft, where she acted as a business and brand steward for the TechEd & Tech Days brands. During her time at Microsoft, Matlock also served as a brand evangelist, responsible for building a brand advocate framework through customer engagement, in-person and online events and product community innovation programs.

Prior to Microsoft, Matlock was the co-founder of Software Company, focused on creating social media platforms for the entertainment industry. She also worked at XOS Technologies, where she oversaw two departments: XOS Community and CollegeSportsDirect.com. In addition, while at XOS Technologies she delivered a new Web 2.0 private-label social networking product for Electronic Arts' EASPORTS division: EASPORTSWorld.com, which integrated Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08, NCAA Football 08, Madden NFL 08 and FIFA08 game features to the online social media experience.

Matlock, a graduate of Valencia College, currently resides in Orlando, FL with her husband Mark, and two sons Joshua and Logan.
