HITEC: Bartech to Showcase Profit-Generating Minibar Technologies
Bartech, a provider of automatic minibar solutions for the hospitality industry, will be demonstrating its line of new design and technology innovations at HITEC 2011, taking place June 20-23 in Austin, Texas. In addition to an extensive selection of customizable automatic minibars that are designed to maximize revenue and save hoteliers time and money through increased efficiency, Bartech will also be displaying several of its latest proprietary designs, including the eCube and the eDrawer. A fully functional prototype of the new Flat Fridge will also be on display at Booth #446 during expo hours.
Solutions on display include:
- The eCube was especially developed by Bartech, in cooperation with a major global hotel chain client for use in a brand concept room. The eCube is designed to fit into a small space and is meant to showcase, cool and control up to nine small specialty beverage bottles. The eCube is equipped with the same state-of-the-art detection capabilities as all other automatic mini-bars within the Bartech range, as well as energy-saving options and a choice of Windows-based and web-based server technologies.
- The eDrawer, was also developed at the request of a major hotel client in the U.S., who had expressed a need for a modular, furniture-based drawer system that would blend seamlessly into the room design. Bartech offers the eDrawer with multiple options for both the cold cube drawer and dry section of the minibar, depending on individual property requirements. It is available in any finish and a choice of materials, and can be customized to a hotel’s unique specifications.
- The Flat Fridge, Bartech’s latest innovation, has been specifically adapted to the latest in-room design trends. The thin, minimalist design is accented with a double glass door. The Flat Fridge is available as a stand-alone unit or a wall-mounted version to optimize guestroom space.
Bartech also offers a choice of five methods of server communication, allowing each hotel to create a cost-effective and efficient technology solution possible. For properties with an existing ZigBee network, Bartech can provide seamless integration with its embedded controls for maximum system integration and minimal installation costs. Other options include Wi-Fi, Coax cable, twisted pair and Ethernet communication. Bartech also utilizes three different types of sensor technologies, including infrared, magnetic and micro-switch, which allows Bartech minibars to use the most effective and reliable technology for each type of product dispensed.
