Dickey's Barbecue Pit Partners with Host Kitchen

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit's partnership with Franklin Junction will help expand global brand reach capital-free through host kitchens.

Through a partnership with Franklin Junction, Dickey’s Barbecue Pit is on track to open its first host kitchen location by the end of the month with the goal of 25 locations by the end of 2021.

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit, with over 550 locations globally, has seen tremendous growth throughout the past two years by focusing on e-commerce and online sales, making the partnership with Franklin Junction an ideal opportunity to accelerate their presence in untapped markets.

At Restaurant Next, CEO Laura Rea Dickey shared the recent tech updates the brand has implemented and explained how the beloved barbecue brand has embraced off prem.  Dickey’s upgraded multiple online platforms, including its proprietary reporting system and intranet portal. Dickey's has been expanding its online retail site and added monthly meal subscription boxes last fall.  In July, Dickey's Barbecue at Home launched an updated website
