Agilysys' Mobile ResNet App Enables Direct Booking with Smartphone, iPad
Agilysys, Inc., a provider of innovative information technology and hospitality software solutions, announced the launch of its Mobile ResNet application. The application enables guests to book rooms directly into the Lodging Management System (LMS) property management solution via any Web-enabled smartphone as well as an iPad or iPod touch device.
One of the first companies to use the application is Boyd Gaming Corporation, which has incorporated Mobile ResNet into 'B Connected Mobile,' a multi-property, loyalty program-based smartphone application. Rolled out in July, 'B Connected Mobile' delivers personalized offers and information, including best rates available on hotel rooms, directly to Boyd Gaming customers on their mobile devices.

"The B Connected Mobile smartphone app complements B Connected Online, our online community of nearly half a million loyal customers who use LMS ResNet by Agilysys for online room reservations. The Mobile ResNet application allows our customers to make room reservations at any Boyd Gaming property in a mobile-friendly experience. This is one more way Boyd Gaming is using technology to help create an exceptional guest stay."
The Mobile ResNet application integrates seamlessly with the LMS ResNet online reservations solution to enable guests to book a room. The Mobile ResNet application is broad in scope and is designed to run on any Web-enabled smartphone as well as iPad and iPod touch devices. It rounds out the LMS property management system offering, which includes modules for accounting, activities scheduling, attraction ticketing, condo accounting, food and beverage management, remote check-in and more.
Boyd Gaming Corporation's B Connected program, which is free to all adults age 21 and older, enables players to earn and redeem points for their play at any participating Boyd Gaming casino, as well as participate in a variety of promotions and discounts at Boyd Gaming properties. B Connected Mobile is available for free download at the iPhone App Store, and the company is currently working on versions for Android and BlackBerry platforms. B Connected membership is not required to download or use the app; however, membership unlocks many of its features.
