White Lodging Implements RFID Guest Door Locks at 30 Properties
Kaba, provider of Saflok™ and ILCO™ brands of electronic locks, announced White Lodging selected Kaba’s Saflok Quantum and RT RFID guestroom door locks for more than 30 Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, IHG, and other flagged properties. Installation began in 4Q 2013 with completion expected in early 2014.
White Lodging has standardized on RFID lock systems for its replacement systems and for all new construction. The Kaba Saflok Quantum II RFID lock offers an attractive two-piece modular design that combines a contemporary appearance with Kaba reliability. Quantum locks also provide online capability with Kaba’s Messenger™ system that converts stand-alone, battery-operated door locks into bi-directional communication devices for greater guest safety and operational convenience. The Kaba Saflok RT is a rugged contactless lock that offers RFID technology to enhance the guest room access experience and streamline hotel operations. The full-body RT lock is a perfect retro-fit option for replacing existing mechanical or electronic door locks throughout a facility.
