Star Micronics Hospitality Printers Certified by Dinerware
Star Micronics America, Inc. announces that multiple versions of its hospitality focused thermal and dot matrix printers, including the TSP100 and SP700, have earned certification from Dinerware as compatible with its restaurant POS software program. For nearly ten years, Dinerware has been providing restaurant point of sale software solutions to the hospitality industry.
Star's SP700 (Serial and Ethernet versions), TSP650 (Serial), the TSP100 (USB) and the TSP100LAN have all been certified by Dinerware. The SP700 is a fast, two-color dot matrix printer built specifically to work in environments where heat and humidity can erode the type on the kitchen order. It offers crisp, easy to read type for quick viewing and clamshell design for easy paper loading.
The TSP100 family including the USB and LAN versions. The TSP100s feature internal power supplies, print speed throughput of 25 RPM (receipts per minute) as well as "plug & play" USB or Ethernet drivers. The TSP100LAN version can be placed in multiple stations throughout the kitchen and its' "Lost Connection" and optional buzzer features easily alert kitchen staffs to a possible network problem. The TSP100USB version rounds out the offering as a front of house POS printer.
The TSP650 thermal receipt printer couples the comfort of legacy POS printer products with the speed and connection options demanded today in hospitality environments.
