Rainmaker Rev Mgmt System Snags Top Honors from Casino Enterprise Management

Casino Enterprise Management magazine has named The Rainmaker Group's revolution revenue management system the winner of its 2010 Hospitality Operations Technology (HOT) Award in the 'Revenue Generation' category.
The expert panel of judges that selected revolution for the award included Peter Arceo, principal, Strategic Gaming Advisors; Katrina Lane, senior vice president and CTO, Harrah's Entertainment; Bart Lewin, consultant and former CTO, Pinnacle Entertainment; and Claudia Winkler, president, GHI Solutions.

The revolution revenue management system considers Total Customer Value when determining optimal availability conditions. Total Customer Value includes not only hotel revenues, but potential revenue from gaming, food and beverage, spa, and other significant profit centers. The revolution system also analyzes and factors in forecasted demand from local influences such as holidays and city-wide events to recommend optimized rates for each guest segment.
