Penn Station East Coast Subs Unveils Mobile App with Integrated Loyalty
Penn Station East Coast Subs, the fast-casual restaurant known for its grilled, made-to-order sub sandwiches, hand-squeezed lemonade and fresh-cut fries, recently unveiled its all-new mobile app, complete with an integrated loyalty program. The app offers users several convenient features, like earning and redeeming rewards, call-ahead ordering, friend referrals, store locator, menu and access to Penn Station’s popular interactive seasonal games.
Designed and built by Relevant Mobile, a trailblazer in developing customized mobile apps and mobile-centric data-capturing solutions exclusively for the restaurant industry, the new app provides Penn Station with an invaluable tool for engaging with and providing long-term value to its customers.
“We wanted our app to be user-friendly and incorporate some of the things we’re best known for, like our online games,” said Penn Station president Craig Dunaway. “It’s a great vehicle to launch our loyalty program, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the outstanding work done by the folks at Relevant Mobile.”
Customers may register for Penn Station’s new loyalty program by downloading the app and inputting their email address. The app stores a barcode attached to each customer’s loyalty account, which customers will scan at the register when they are ready to pay.
Customers receive a free 6-inch sandwich when they join the program. Then, for every dollar spent, they earn loyalty credit on a customized meter. As customers earn more loyalty credit, they receive more rewards. Along the way, they will earn their choice of one of Penn Station’s signature items: an order of fresh-cut fries, fresh-squeezed lemonade or a chocolate chunk cookie. When a customer has filled their meter up, they will receive another free 6-inch sandwich. Users will also receive push notification campaigns and alerts when they are eligible for a reward.
The app, which is available on iOS and Android, also includes location information, so customers can easily find the closest restaurant. It allows them to refer a friend via social media to receive a reward and give their friend a free sandwich when they download the app. The app will also integrate with Penn Station’s seasonal online games. Users will be able to play the games on their phones and win different offers.
