An important aspect of the offering, which will be incorporated into MICROS OPERA's MyStayManager, OPERA PMS and OPERA CRS v5.0.2+, is the ability for guests to check in and out without having to stop at the front desk or at a kiosk upon arrival. Using the principle of
Crypto Acoustic Credential (CAC), a guest can securely receive his or her room key via cell phone (any type or brand and using any carrier network worldwide) prior to arriving at the hotel and proceed directly to the room upon arrival and open/unlock the door.
