MSI Boosts Payment Security through Merchant Link Integration

Merchant Link, a payments gateway provider and MSI (Multi-Systems, Inc.), a supplier of hotel technology and property management systems (PMS), have announced a partnership that will add a high-speed payments gateway and high-touch support as well as comprehensive reporting capabilities to MSI's property management system.

Through the partnership, MSI's customers, more than 4,500 hotels and resorts across the U.S., will enjoy the benefits of the Merchant Link Gateway which include:

• A secure, cloud-based, high-speed payments network reducing cost and effort to achieve PCI compliance;
• Expanded choice and flexibility of payment processors;
• Elimination of processor pass-through fees for American Express, saving a hotel up to $.20 per AMEX transaction;
• Merchant Link's industry-leading "One-Call-Solves-All" technical and help desk support to assist customers with any issue regardless of where it occurs within the transaction life cycle; and
• Robust, web-based enterprise reporting that provides a consolidated view of all credit card activity throughout the property.

The integration also includes Place Point, MSI's innovative point-of-sale system that integrates with MSI's WinPM property management solutions.
