MGM Grand at Foxwoods Debuts Casino Social Network

MGM Grand at Foxwoods launches a new social network to bolster its customers' casino experience. Management expects the network to bring patrons of the resort together, to connect players to their favorite games, locations, interests, clubs and restaurants, and to educate and entertain with gambling tips and exclusive information about the casino.

It will also provide MGM Grand at Foxwoods with an additional critical function: the opportunity to gain insights into both what products and services resonate positively with its clientele and what can be improved to deliver a superior guest experience.

"By having a social networking presence, we have the chance to interact with our users in a novel format and gain invaluable insights into consumer satisfaction which ultimately can improve customer interactions. MGM Grand at Foxwoods partnered with Sparta Social Networks to build, manage, and help formulate the way to integrate social networking into its casino launch. By utilizing Sparta's Web 2.0 enterprise social network platform "Community2", MGM Grand at Foxwoods gains access to all the popular social network features plus the latest social platform tools like videos, widgets, and seamless integration with other sites like Twitter and Facebook.
