LodgeNet Expands International Footprint with WIFI Entertainment
LodgeNet Interactive Corporation, a provider of media and connectivity solutions, and WiFi Entertainment LTDA, a supplier of wireless broadband solutions for major hotel chains, announced a partnership that positions LodgeNet to provide advanced interactive TV (iTV) services to hotels in Colombia.
WiFi Entertainment is a wireless Internet service provider that creates technological solutions tailored to hotels, business centers and industries in Colombia, giving them a technology and industry knowledge base ideally suited for enhancing their offerings with iTV. The company supplies national hotspots and high-tech networks. WiFi is also allied with TELMEX COLOMBIA SA, a telecommunications provider in Colombia.
LodgeNet says that WIFI Entertainment is a well-qualified partner for this effort because of their established hotel relationships and their bilingual 24/7 support center specializing in telecommunications and customer service.
