Glympse Launches Curbside and In-Store Pickup Solution
Glympse unveils its Curbside & In-Store Pickup product. The product is designed to facilitate safe, temporary and secure customer-to-business location sharing and multichannel arrival notifications in a way that allows Retail, Grocery and Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) brands to optimize pickup for both themselves and their customers.
Immediately after a customer places an order online, they are alerted via an SMS text message, email or push notification when their order is ready to be picked up. Thanks to a dedicated mobile app (or any customer mobile app that is powered by Glympse's SDK), the customer can safely and temporarily share their location and ETA with the business. Included in the solution to optimize store operations is a dedicated employee mobile application and a kiosk web application for an all-up view for pickup management.
Albertsons Companies will pilot Glympse technology in select Drive Up & Go markets next month, so store employees can bring groceries to customers’ cars exactly when they arrive.
