The Cumin Bowl Expands to Atlanta, Partners with C-Store, Franklin Junction
Fast-casual brand The Cumin Bowl is now open for delivery in the Atlanta area of Buckhead, thanks to a partnership with Franklin Junction and c-store UPop.
Located at UPop, the upscale convenience store by Savi Provisions, the fast casual brand’s expansion into the Atlanta area was facilitated by Atlanta-based Franklin Junction.
Customers will be able to order from all major delivery platforms, including UberEats and DoorDash, and thecuminbowl.com.
[75% of consumers prefer to order delivery direct from the restaurant, according to HT's 2021 Customer Engagement Technology Study.]
The Cumin Bowl’s partnership with Franklin Junction and Upop comes as other brands are looking for non-traditional locations.
New Partnerships, New Efficiencies
Mall operator Simon has teamed up with Kitchen United on Grab Go Eat, a new collaboration for mall pickup or delivery. Highgate Hotel has chosen C3 as the exclusive partner for The Westin Las Vegas Hotel & Spa's in-room dining and take-out is handled by C3, which has more than 800 virtual kitchen locations across the country and a roster of more than 40 culinary brands. And in January, Kitchen United MIX opened its first location co-located with Kroger.
The Cumin Bowl’s Buckhead location brings the brand one step closer to reaching its goal of expanding into 25 cities across the U.S. by the end of 2022. The Cumin Culinary Brands, the parent company of The Cumin Bowl and Indian food meal kit brand The Cumin Club, successfully launched its first fast-casual concept in Chicago last year.
Featuring bowls, quick bites, and desserts, The Cumin Bowl is a favorite among Indian food lovers and an approachable introduction to those who are less familiar with South Asian cuisine.
Rishi Nigam, CEO and co-founder of Franklin Junction, said “Our Host Kitchen network enables us to offer authentic, high-quality brands like The Cumin Bowl to people all across the country.”
