Cendyn, a full service hospitality sales and marketing agency, announced the acquisition of RoundTableHQ, which will continue to operate as a separate company and benefit from Cendyn’s technology and financial resources. getplanning is a secure web-based portal that provides any-time access for meeting planners and hotel staff to review and update documents such as banquet event orders, contracts, and rooming lists. The system creates real-time communication of event details that will result in a smoother planning process. When event documents are updated, getplanning provides instant e-mail communication between specific event stakeholders such as meeting coordinators, catering service managers, and A/V managers to ensure any changes are acknowledged and factored into event execution. As an added plus, when meeting planners are onsite they may use getplanning on an iPad as a branded, sophisticated interactive application.
RoundTableHQ’s web-based getplanning technology will integrate Cendyn’s eProposal, ePlanning, and eMenus products providing planners with a variety of resources to better manage group events. The system is engineered to enhance the planner experience and promote efficiencies that produce substantial savings to the hotels through elimination of costs connected with the printing of documents and the excess labor incurred with the current planning process.
