VeriFone Releases PAYware Transact Version 3.1.5

VeriFone Holdings announces the release of PAYware Transact version 3.1.5, its highly-scalable, OS- and database-independent payment solution that supports high-volume, enterprise level transaction processing for retailers and businesses of any size.

PAYware Transact 3.1.5 offers the following enhancements: 

• Added support for electronic check processing via the Elavon (host capture) processing network: Added support for electronic check processing with WEB/TEL/CCD services (Internet initiated, telephone initiated, and corporate debit business-to-business); available for MOTO and e-Commerce business types via dial-up, frame relay, or Internet connectivity. 
• Added support for extended transaction information sent via the Fifth Third St. Pete processing network: Added support for draft locator ID and convenience fee data to be included with transaction information sent to Fifth Third St. Pete. 
• Added support for FSA/HRA transactions via the First Data North processing network: PAYware Transact now supports the processing of FSA/HRA transactions through Heartland Payment Systems. Additionally, PAYware Transact now supports the processing of EBT transactions through First Data North via frame relay or Internet connectivity. 
• Added support for FSA/HRA transactions via the Heartland Payment Systems processing network: PAYware Transact now supports the processing of FSA/HRA transactions through Heartland Payment Systems.
• Other features: Added support for VeriShield Protect (available with the PAYware Transact Premier bundle). VeriShield Protect is an advanced end-to-end data encryption solution that helps to minimize the exposure of sensitive cardholder data during transaction processing. Also added Database Awareness to increase the efficiency of PAYware installation through database-specific optimizations.    

Providing direct TCP/IP or dial connectivity to a comprehensive list of processors, PAYware Transact can quickly and securely process credit, debit, purchasing cards (levels II and III), stored value gift, loyalty, EBT, and checks.  

With its advanced load-balancing capabilities and the ability to support multi-threaded processing, PAYware Transact can process numerous transactions rapidly and simultaneously.
