Speakap Launches ‘Do Not Disturb’ Feature

And if your company is in a country that has introduced, or plans to introduce, 'right to disconnect' and 'anti-stress' laws, the ability to turn off after working hours is critical in complying with such legislation. New York City Council proposed the ‘right to disconnect’ bill in 2018, which states that it would be unlawful for companies with more than 10 employees to require employees to respond to emails during non-work hours. With fines running at least $250 per violation, the consequence of non-compliance is simply too costly.
