The Siegel Group Nevada Selects PMS Tech for Two Newly Acquired Casinos

The Siegel Group Nevada, Inc., a commercial real estate investment and business development company, selects the OPERA Lite Property Management System (PMS) and myfidelio web booking engine from MICROS for two newly acquired properties, the Gold Spike Hotel & Casino and Resort on Mount Charleston. The Siegel Group Nevada has also selected OPERA Sales and Catering and MICROS 9700 for the Resort on Mount Charleston.

The Siegel Group Nevada purchased the Gold Spike Casino in February 2008 and has since transformed this legendary downtown Las Vegas property which had fallen into disrepair, into the highly acclaimed Gold Spike Hotel & Casino. Part of the transformation and upgrade included a new hotel system which would suit the property's requirement for basic hotel management at a cost effective price.

Based on the success of the first implementation, The Siegel Group Nevada has also selected OPERA Lite PMS, OPERA Sales & Catering, the myfidelio web suite, and MICROS POS for the recently purchased Resort on Mount Charleston, a picturesque logwood property in the mountains above Las Vegas, which attracts nature lovers and visitors seeking a retreat from the casino buzz. OPERA Lite PMS provides The Siegel Group Nevada with the power of MICROS's world renowned OPERA Enterprise Solution, pre-configured with modules to fit its simple technology needs.

After beginning our search for the optimal hotel system, we saw the immediate value in selecting a property management system that offers seamless integration to a full web suite, including web site booking and GDS/ADS connectors, the point-of-sale system, and numerous other 3rd party interfaces, says Andrew Rapport, chief operations officer, The Siegel Group Nevada, Inc. Looking to the future and our plans to add multiple properties to our portfolio, we are aware how beneficial OPERA will be for the future centralization of our system needs.
