Restaurant Technology Network (RTN)  is thrilled to announce that Ben Hall, CIO of Krispy Kreme, has joined its Board of Governors.

RTN’s Board of Governors is made up of seasoned restaurant technology veterans who all share the same passion for technology innovation in the restaurant industry. The Board of Governors helps steer the RTN community, providing guidance on key issues to help restaurant businesses be more successful while better serving their customers.

Hall kicked off the MURTEC Executive Summit and Showcase in Orlando.  Even before he stepped up on the stage, he won over the crowd by showing up with a sweet array of Krispy Kreme doughnuts for all.

Hall discussed the beloved brand’s recent tech initiatives including its NYC flagship. The amazing storefront offers virtual queuing and reservations, a multitude of TikTok-able / Instagrammable moments, including a giant Krispy Kreme photo-frame box, and a glaze fountain.

Hall is looking to better address challenges such as labor, supply chain and commodities. RTN looks forward to Hall’s leadership and guidance on the Board.

Other members include Wade Allen, SVP, Head of Innovation for Brinker International; Jim Vitek, VP of Digital Commerce at Yum! Brands; Susan Carroll-Boser, VP of Technology for White Castle; Gagan Sinha, SVP, Restaurant Technology at Inspire Brands, Samuel Langley VP, IT at TGI Fridays; and Phil Crawford, CTO of CKE, to name a few.
