The Riverwalk Casino Hotel in Vicksburg, Miss. announces the selection of the Lodging Management System(R) (LMS) by Agilysys to enhance efficiency and streamline operations at the upscale property, which is scheduled to open this fall.

LMS is an integrated property management solution that automates every aspect of a hotel's operations, from reservations and credit card processing to accounting and housekeeping. The web-enabled system is based on a services-oriented architectural framework that offers maximum flexibility and minimal upkeep. Its foundation expands to incorporate modules for activities scheduling, attraction ticketing, food and beverage, itinerary planning, online reservations and more, making it one of the hospitality industry's most powerful and versatile property management systems.
Riverwalk will also use the LMS CASH(R) credit authorization and settlements handling module to provide instant online credit card approval combined with express check in; and the LMS Accounts Receivable module to increase operational efficiency and revenue collection.
Riverwalk Casino Hotel, located on the Mississippi River in Vicksburg, Miss., is part of a $100 million project that includes an 80-room hotel, two restaurants, a VIP club, a large meeting and events center and 27,000 square feet of gaming space.
