Rising Star Helps Restaurants Achieve Objectives
Laura Beach, Sales Account Executive, AMAZON Web Services- AWS, was presented with the Top Women in Restaurant Technology - Rising Star award at MURTEC.
Beach is passionate about helping her customers achieve their business objectives by using AWS services and it shows. In fact, it was one of her QSR clients that nominated her for the Top Women in Restaurant Technology – Rising Star award.
Beach has been working in the technology sector for more than 15 years. “My career has led me to support multiple industries, including restaurants/hospitality,” she says. “I have thoroughly enjoyed the solutions I have been able to help my hospitality customers create and transform the way they do business.”
Looking ahead to the future of restaurant technology, Beach is bullish about the long-term impact of AI/ML solutions. “Automating everyday tasks with machines and utilizing data to revolutionize the way restaurants serve their customers is fascinating to me,” she says. “I have seen many of my hospitality and restaurant customers completely transform their businesses through AI/ML solutions. I foresee that restaurant technology will continue to innovate and utilize more AI/ML solutions.”
Beach is proud of her role at AWS. “To be a part of an organization that is customer obsessed is amazing. It has transformed the way I view my role as a Sales Account Executive and how I prioritize my time to focus solely on my customer’s needs first and foremost,” she says.
Beach was one of 10 women recognized in HT’s sixth annual Top Women in Restaurant Technology Awards, sponsored by Tillster, the global leader in powering online ordering and delivery solutions for restaurant brands.
“I am honored to receive the Rising Star Award. One of my customers nominated me for this award, and I am so grateful for the opportunity to work with them in my territory,” Beach said. “There are so many talented women in technology and I am humbled that I get to stand amongst such an amazing group of professionals.”
