Built around the company’s license-free CloudTrax cloud management portal, and offering a full complement of WiFi access points, switches and routers, Open Mesh is ideally suited to give hotels, restaurants and other hospitality centers a reliable, flexible, and scalable WiFi solution that simultaneously supports both secure and guest networks. The company recently launched its first cloud-managed router, the G200, and a tri-radio A62 access point, so that it can now provide a full-stack, end-to-end solution that serves even more devices and can be managed from anywhere from a single pane of glass. The Open Mesh-based system, managed through CloudTrax, provides an easy way to create cost-efficient networks that integrate with leading captive portal and property management systems. Open Mesh’s simplified installation process allows networks to be installed and operational faster. Access points and switches can be pre-configured prior to physical installation, eliminating the need for each access point to be configured individually onsite. In locations where running cables can be problematic or expensive, the access point’s automatic mesh repeater mode requires only a power source to distribute the available WiFi signal, drastically lowering costs for new WiFi deployments. Among the products the company will showcase at the show will be its three most recent introductions: The G200 router, complete with an integrated firewall and a quad core networking processor that provides full gigabit throughput; the universal A62, its most powerful 802.11 AC Wave 2 access point that can be installed in hallways, common areas, guest rooms and even outdoors; and a new, enhanced version of its S24 switch, which adds 10GbE SFP+ connectivity and an increased PoE budget.
