NRA 2017 NEWS: Epson to Feature Inline and Online Ordering, Line-Busting and Food Freshness Solutions

05/10/2017
At the 2017 National Restaurant Association Show (NRA), Epson will be featuring some of the partners it works closely with to provide operators with inline and online ordering, line busting and food freshness solutions. Some of those partners include:

ZIVELO will be featuring its free-standing self-service consumer kiosk, which brings digital engagement to the POS. The demo will show self-service ordering and check out with Epson’s TM-T88V single-station thermal printer. The demo station will also show line-busting, which reduces or eliminates wait time, with Epson’s MobiLink P80 and MobiLink P20 wireless receipt printers. This is ideal for hospitality as orders taken on ZIVELO’s self-service kiosk can be transmitted directly to the kitchen without delay.

Onosys will be demonstrating how its fully customizable, digital ordering platform for restaurants leverages the Epson OmniLink Merchant Services (OMS) Cloud to deliver orders to the OmniLink TM-T88VI intelligent printer and helps restaurants transform their mobile and online ordering experience.

Iconex, MAXStick and StickyPOS media will be showcased leveraging the Epson TM-L90 Plus-i LFC (liner-free compatible) receipt printer with integrated food freshness application, ideal for quick service restaurants (QSRs) and full service restaurants (FSRs). The demos will show how the joint solutions enable these customers to quickly print order details and add appropriate labels to orders so food service operators can easily ensure that the right order is delivered to the right consumer, improving order accuracy and efficiencies and maintaining food freshness.

Epson will also be showcasing its Multi-Station Kitchen Display Systems (KDS) controller solution, which streamlines food service operations for QSRs. It leverages the OmniLink TM-U220-i COM to drive up to nine kitchen displays via convenient networked KDS expansion modules.
