Breezeway Raises $15 Million Series B to Invest in Advanced Property Care and Hospitality Service Platform
Breezeway, a property care and guest experience platform for the vacation rental and hospitality industries, announced that it has raised $15 million in Series B funding led by growth equity firm Catalyst Investors with participation from existing investor Schooner Capital.
Founded in 2017 by CEO Jeremy Gall, who previously founded FlipKey, Breezeway helps thousands of vacation rental hosts and hospitality managers in over 65 countries automate operations, drive quality, and elevate the experience at every property. Breezeway’s software and mobile apps have facilitated more than 18 million property service tasks, helping operators deliver more than 55 million nights booked at homes prepared to their specific standards.
Breezeway’s platform is focused on enabling hosts and managers to deliver high-quality guest experiences. The company will use this new funding to continue to invest in both its operations management tools and its guest experience platform.
“It’s challenging to deliver the type of detailed property preparation and service that guests have come to expect,” said Gall. “Hospitality managers and hosts are inundated with operational tasks, from scheduling work, coordinating services over multiple locations and unique properties, to monitoring guest needs, tracking preventative maintenance and compliance with hospitality standards. With the support of Catalyst, we will continue to invest in our platform to make it easier for hosts and managers to solve these operational complexities and exceed guest expectations.”
“With an increasing focus on quality, the hospitality manager who emphasizes service and the experience at the property will gain a competitive advantage,” said Grady Kidder of Catalyst Investors, who will be joining Breezeway’s board of directors. “Breezeway is the market leader in property care software, and we look forward to working with Jeremy and his team to continue to expand their reach both internationally and to other hospitality verticals.”
