The Return to Service - How to Consistently Keep Promises and Delight Your Guests |
As the global pandemic continues to push the hospitality industry to embrace technology, the future lies in a new, hybrid service model where waitstaff uses technology to enhance the guest experience. The session provides a roadmap for hospitality operators to discover ways to enhance the guest experience through a hybrid service model that combines technology with the human touch. We believe hospitality entails two types of guest interactions: Experiential and Transactional. Experiential interactions are your food, drink, ambiance, and the fun parts of service such as smiles, presentations, recommendations. The not-so-fun parts of your service are the Transactional experiences. This session was produced in partnership with GoTab, featuring Annie King Cazares, Chief of Staff, Topgolf; Scott Lovejoy, VP of Technology, Topgolf; Tim McLaughlin, CEO, GoTab Inc.; Rich Sweeney, former Chef at Stone Brewing, Chef Consultant, ScruffyChef. |
How to Leverage Artificial Intelligence to Deliver Best-in-Class Customer Experience |
When the Paytronix Data Insights team looked to help a client make its loyalty promotion stronger it turned to Artificial Intelligence. Fed by a deep well of customer data, the AI came back with a surprisingly simple, but counterintuitive answer: show a tuna sandwich. Guests demand personalized experiences, and AI enables marketers to make better decisions so they can drive individual action. That can be as simple as putting the right image in an email, or more complicated, like using k-means clustering to find the right combination of menu items to promote to specific audiences. In this workshop we will give audiences hands-on demonstrations to help understand the true value AI can provide when coupled with consumer data. In this session, Paytronix CEO Andrew Robbins will help the audience: Understand what the various algorithms produce; Experience a live demonstration of k-means clustering; and Learn from a case study focusing on how AI helped some major brands achieve measurable improvements on their marketing programs. This session was produced in partnership with Paytronix, featuring Courtney Gifford, Digital Engagement and Loyalty Marketing Manager, Caribou Coffee; Andrew Robbins, President, Paytronix. |
