Little Caesars Launches Self-Service Mobile Order Pick-Up Station

Customers who order and prepay for a Little Caesars pizza via their mobile app can now pick it up at a heated, self-service mobile order pick-up station.

Detroit-based pizza operator teamed up with Sizzling Platter to launch RESERVE-N-READY at 55 locations in Utah. The service features the Pizza Portal, a heated, self-service mobile order pick-up station in the quick service restaurant industry.

RESERVE-N-READY combines convenience with mobile ordering, pre-payment and heated self-service pick up.

The app will notify the customer when the order is ready. When the customer arrives to the store, they skip the line and go directly to the Pizza Portal and input a 3-digit pin or scan a QR code. Then, the door on the customer's secured compartment opens, and they take their order.

The Pizza Portal's proprietary technology has been co-developed with Apex Supply Chain Technologies, a provider of automated dispensing system, exclusively for Little Caesars.

In addition to Little Caesars, Salt Lake City-based Sizzling Platter has four other brands in its concept portfolio: Dunkin' Donuts, Wingstop, Red Robin and Sizzler.
