HITEC 2019 NEWS: HCN to Debut ‘EVENTLINK’ at HITEC Minneapolis

In-room tablet computers are growing in popularity at hotels across all segments, yet few properties are marketing the digital devices to event planners as an in-room, revenue-generating communications tool. Giving meetings managers control over the tablet content in the rooms of their attendees is a new frontier. HCN designed EVENTLINK and the all-encompassing Event Program to catch the eye of attendees with instant onscreen alerts, up-to-date information, daily event photos, sponsorship ads, and any information that planners feel is relevant to attendees.

The EVENT Program featured on the Navigator Tablet is a great digital space to sell exhibitor and sponsor advertisements. Rotating ads dominate the screen, making them highly visible from anywhere in the room. The screen is on all day long and broadcasting hours can be customized to suit an organizers’ schedule. This keeps event branding top of mind with delegates because it simply can’t be missed. And, by using hotel group codes, hoteliers know which rooms to broadcast content to. Tablet content is reset between guest visits, ensuring their privacy is maintained.
