East Coast Management Companies Install Onity's CodePro Locking System

Five vacation ownership and property management companies from Virginia to Florida announce the installation of the CodePro electronic locking system, a PIN code-based electronic locking system developed by Onity to meet the needs of the vacation ownership and property management sectors of the hospitality market. Onity is part of UTC Fire & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp.

ResortQuest Northwest Florida, part of the country's largest property management network, is installing the CodePro system at several of its Navarre Beach resorts. Panhandle Getaways, based in Georgia, has also chosen CodePro for its high-rise condominium projects in Panama City, Destin and Fort Walton Beaches.

Three other property management companies, Virginia-based Good Management, North Carolina-based Ocean Isle Beach and California-based Yosemite Region Resorts are all installing Onity's CodePro locks in properties ranging from the new Cambridge Cove at Bermuda Bay Resort, to beachfront and mountain resort vacation homes.

Onity's CodePro locking system enables property managers and owners to instantly and remotely provide rental clients with access to specific properties for specific periods of time, without the need for a key or keycard. It also simplifies the check-in process by eliminating the need for a guest to visit a front desk or rental office, providing guests with increased convenience, privacy and efficiency.

The lock's code is software generated, so that it can easily be sent to users through remote media such as text messaging or email. Individual access codes with separate time restraints can also be generated remotely in order to manage and track all access to individual units by quests, housekeeping or maintenance staff.
