Dunkin’ Donuts Integrates Mobile Ordering, Amazon Alexa
Fans of Dunkin’ Donuts can now order via Amazon Alexa.
Through Dunkin’ Donuts new integration of On-the-Go Mobile Ordering with Amazon Alexa, DD Perks Rewards Members can now use voice ordering through an Alexa-enabled device to place a mobile order and then speed past the line for pick-up.
To get started, guests who have a DD Perks account and an Amazon account can link them together in the Alexa app once they open the skill. Users simply say, “Alexa, order from Dunkin’ Donuts."
Users need to select the Dunkin’ Donuts location they would like to order from. Locations recently ordered from will automatically be identified by Alexa. Users can place their order from their Dunkin’ Donuts saved favorites and chose if they’d like to pick up their in-store or at the drive-thru. After confirming order details, users select the time they'd like the order to be ready. Once the order is confirmed, users can speed past the line for pick-up.
Users can tell Alexa to "tell Dunkin’ Donuts to reorder my last saved favorite.” All payments will be processed using the DD Perks Rewards account on the Dunkin’ Mobile app.
