Caesars App Helps Users Find their Winning Streak and More

5/11/2011
The next generation of Caesars Entertainment’s Caesars Palace Guest App will be the first to use NAVTEQ Destination Maps. The new Caesars Palace app also enables room and dining reservations, concierge services, and access to real-time event information, bookings and more.

Now leveraging NAVTEQ Destination Maps, the app helps guests interactively search and explore the vast Las Vegas resort's gaming floor, restaurants, shops, nightlife and spa facilities—even orienting them down to the detail of its stairs and banks of elevators. With the interactive points of interest (POI) functionality, users can review hours of operation, cuisine type, menus, scheduled entertainment, local retailers and more.

NAVTEQ creates digital maps and location content that consumers turn to 100 million times a day. Launched last month, NAVTEQ Destination Maps pioneers a new frontier of digital mapping, providing interactive 3D data-modeled maps of vast, complex interior spaces.

The Caesars Palace app is available via iTunes and Android Market app stores. In addition to integrating NAVTEQ Destination Maps, the app is powered by NAVTEQ Mobile Marketing Platform which helps customers create and manage virtually all aspects of the mobile eco-system, including creation and deployment of applications, mobile websites, and opt-in SMS campaigns.

"With the NAVTEQ Mobile Marketing Platform, Caesars Palace has managed to create high-engagement mobile apps that have helped us to better connect with Caesars Palace customers on and offsite," says Neal Narayani, corporate director of marketing at Caesars Entertainment. "We're proud to be among the first to use NAVTEQ Destination Maps in an application because we view indoor mapping as instrumental to delivering a more holistic experience for our guests."
