Burger King, DoorDash Tie Promo to Video Game Launch

Burger King's cross-marketing campaign ties the launch of a popular video game and third-party delivery. Fans can purchase one of the Call of Duty BK meals through the DoorDash app.

Burger King restaurants are partnering with DoorDash and Activision to provide fans with the ultimate package for the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 game launch.

Now through November 12, Call of Duty fans will have the ability to purchase one of the Call of Duty BK meals from participating Burger King restaurants through the DoorDash app. Fans will receive from DoorDash a code for a bonus in-game gesture that will be sent to all who purchase one of the Call of Duty BK Meals on DoorDash.

The two Call of Duty BK  meals include the “Nuketown Whopper Meal” featuring the Whopper Sandwich with fries and a drink; and the “Nuketown Crispy Chicken Tenders Meal,” that includes a 4-piece Crispy Chicken Tenders, fries and a drink.

Customer order through the DoorDash app or website and will receive a code within 48 hours via email with a bonus in-game code. Codes are redeemed at callofduty.com/carepackage.

During the four-week flight, the promotion will be supported by a Twitch Takeover featuring the Burger King King competing against a popular gaming personalities and the community. During the Twitch Takeover, Burger King restaurants and DoorDash will feature additional surprises.
