AURES Unveils New POS Hardware
The AURES Group, the manufacturer of POSLIGNE electronic point of sale terminals and equipment (EPoS), which launched its activities in the US last March - introduces Odysse Evolution, a new version of the Odysse integrated system, which features a dual screen device.
The second screen, facing the customer, has been designed to program and display images, text, adverts and commercials - as well as informational content - for the attention of clients during cash desk operations.
Adjustable, this tilting 8.4" display screen (22 x 17.5 cm overall) is located on the rear of the unit and connected to the system's motherboard, enabling real-time, effective communication to customers at retail outlets, leisure centers, bars, restaurants and hotels, for messages to have a direct, spontaneous impact.
Odysse Evolution benefits from POSLIGNE's exclusive 'Clip'n Color' system - a series of nine interchangeable polycarbonate color clips located on the device, which can match retail store brand image and visual identity.
Combining design style and high performance, Odysse Evolution incorporates the very best in POS and Retail technology: 2.8 GHz Intel P4 processor, 1 to 2 GB of RAM, RAID 0/1, WiFi interface, SATA disk drives and more.
