UniFocus Adds Hyper-Converged Infrastructure to Its Data Center
UniFocus said it is adding hyper-converged infrastructure to its data center, underscoring its commitment to provide its partners with the industry’s best-performing workforce management solutions. The Dallas-based organization is deploying Dell EMC VxRail Appliances – a significant investment that will translate into faster, more agile performance for users of its industry-leading LMS.
The Dell EMC VxRail offers a number of advantages over the traditional virtualized server and storage architecture, and is the only such solution on the market to come fully integrated, preconfigured, pre-tested and co-engineered with VMware. It consolidates compute, storage, virtualization and management functions and scales linearly, supporting from 40 VMs to thousands – a vital capability for UniFocus, which supports thousands of locations across the globe, and continues to accommodate steady growth. The upgrade will be seamless for clients, with no adjustments required on their end. Once the new infrastructure is deployed, they will experience a notably improved, faster performance.
In addition to VxRail, UniFocus is investing in its disaster recovery capabilities with the purchase of Dell EMC Avamar, Data Domain and RecoverPoint products.
