Tim Hortons Reveals New Rewards Program

Tim Hortons has revealed an update rewards program.

With Tims Rewards, Canadians will be eligible for a free hot brewed coffee or hot tea or baked good (except for Timbits and bagels) after every seventh visit.

Seven was the number on NHL legend Tim Horton's retiring jersey, so Canadians will be rewarded after every seventh visit with new Tims Rewards.

Tims Rewards can be used in three ways.  Customers can visit any eligible Tim Hortons restaurant in Canada to receive a reusable loyalty card or they can download Tims Rewards to their digital wallet on their iPhone or Android device.

The loyalty program is also part of the new Tim Hortons mobile app. Users can tracks status, scan for rewards and order directly through the app.

"Tim Hortons has some of the most loyal guests in Canada and Tims Rewards allows us to say thank you," says Alex Macedo, President, Tim Hortons. "We heard from our guests that a new rewards program had to be easy to use and redeem, that's why we offer both a reusable card and a digital friendly app."
