The Texas Restaurant Association has deployed a text-enabled number where customers can report on COVID-19 health and hygiene at participating restaurants.

How it Works
By texting ”SAFE,” Quiq’s AI powered chatbot prompts customers through a three-question survey related to health and hygiene practices of the restaurant, and, in near real-time, reports these concerns to the corporate office. Customers can share additional details including pictures or attachments. The business receives this feedback via the Trusted Partner Program dashboard where they can manage the information and take appropriate actions with the customer and the restaurant location.
To be eligible to participate in the program, businesses must pass a training certification for their employees and complete a round of health and hygiene assessments at the location. Upon completion, the restaurant will receive door decals showing they are part of the Trusted Partner Program and provide their customers with a number and location code they can use at any time to share feedback with the business.
