Surface Technology Company Silver Defender Launches Antimicrobial Touch Screen Protectors and Face Masks

11/03/2020

Silver Defender- a surface technology company with patent-pending antimicrobial adhesive films that protect touch point surfaces - continues to help businesses nationwide by expanding its product line to feature touch screen protectors and face masks with its built in innovative protection.

The only product of its kind to have initiated EPA pesticide registration, Silver Defender’s patent-pending technology is activated by light, air pressure and touch. The proprietary designs contain an antimicrobial agent that protects the film and mask fabric from bacteria, mold, mildew and fungi. Silver ions react with and affect multiple sites in bacterial cells on the exterior, keeping it clean.

“As the country continues to navigate reopening, the highest standard of clean is of the upmost importance for businesses and the community,” said Zeynep “Z” Ekemen, managing partner of Silver Defender. “We launched the new products after seeing the demand for the Silver Defender film because high touch electronic surfaces and face masks need the same level of protection and cleanliness as other touch point surfaces.”

Silver Defender’s new touch screen tapes protect items like tablets, copy machines, elevator screens, kiosks and voting machines, among others. The stretchable film can also be cut to fit any screen size.

The facemasks are made with antimicrobial protected fabric featuring adjustable straps and moldable nose clips. Silver Defender has also developed masks with a window panel made of BPA-free plastic, ideal for those who work in health care or service-based industries. The masks are durable for up to 75 at home washes and are available in adult and children sizes.

Manufactured in the United States, Silver Defender masks and screen protectors are available online at:https://www.silverdefender.com/

Silver Defender officially launched in 2018 but when the COVID-19 pandemic reached the country earlier this year, demand unsurprisingly skyrocketed. Silver Defender’s adhesive films can be found in public, nonprofit and private entities across the nation including airports, public transportation, retail locations, cruise lines, schools, hotels, government buildings and more. Notable clients include Long Island MacArthur Airport, HSM Host, Silverstein Properties and SL Green Realty.
