Subway Partners with 4 Third-Party Delivery Services

Subway has partnered with four of the third-party delivery service providers -- Grubhub, DoorDash, Postmates and Uber Eats  -- and now offers delivery from almost 9,000 of its 26,000 U.S. locations.

"Delivery is more than just giving our guests a way to order the sandwiches they want," said Michael Lang, senior director of global convenience for Subway. "We want to connect with consumers and give them the convenience of choice, whether it's in a customized, made-to-order sandwich or in how they get their meals.

"Amazing partners like DoorDash, Grubhub, Postmates and Uber Eats give us the opportunity to reach guests wherever they are and whenever they get a Subway craving," Lang added.

Subway joins a group of restaurants that have struck partnerships with multiple delivery services. Dickey’s Barbecue Pit, Nékter Juice Bar and Noodles & Co. are among restaurants that use multiple services.

The $13 billion third-party food delivery market, which consists of firms providing restaurant meals and groceries, is growing at double digits and projected to top $24.5 billion by 2022, according to a March 2018 report from Pentallect Inc.
