Speedline Adds Online Ordering App
Pizza and delivery point of sale developer SpeedLine Solutions Inc. recently launched a new online ordering app for restaurants with SpeedDine online ordering.
The new app allows restaurants using SpeedDine to offer their customers a branded app for ordering on both Android and iOS devices. With the restaurant’s app on the customer’s phone, customers don’t need to search online for their website and risk being usurped by a competitor.
Similar to the SpeedDine online ordering sites, each SpeedDine App pulls all pricing and tax information from the point of sale terminal in the store, so it’s always accurate. Then, orders are sent directly to the restaurant. Orders are processed through the SpeedLine point of sale system and routed to printers or kitchen displays as though the order was placed in-store. Point of sale reports automatically include all orders placed from the SpeedDine app.
Adam Shorter, owner of Cosmo’s Pizza in Colorado, began using the SpeedDine App in July. “The new app is a big improvement for our online presence,” Shorter says. “I like that it saves the information of repeat customers, and makes ordering easier for them.”
SpeedLine expects the new app will open doors for its customers.
