Retail & Hospitality ISAC Announces New Vice President of Intelligence Operations

Hundley has more than two decades of experience, including roles at top companies in the retail, hospitality, and travel sectors.

The Retail & Hospitality Information Sharing and Analysis Center (RH-ISAC) announced today that Bryon Hundley will join the organization as Vice President of Intelligence Operations. In this role, he will oversee intel activities and the alignment of strategic objectives.  

Hundley has more than two decades of experience, including roles at top companies in the retail, hospitality, and travel sectors. Most recently, he served as Director of Cyber Threat Intelligence, Enterprise Threat and Vulnerability Management for United Airlines, where he worked closely with the CISO and other executives on threat operations strategy. Hundley also has extensive experience in the retail sector following his tenure as Global Director of Information Security, Threat Operations, and Incident Response for Qurate Retail Group, which holds brands including QVC, HSNi, and Zulily. In this role, his accomplishments include creating the Global QRG Cyber Threat Operations Center and leading the redesign of QVC’s information security organization. Hundley’s hospitality sector experience includes work with Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, where he served as Director and Principal of Infrastructure Security Architecture.

Over the course of his extensive cybersecurity career, Hundley has also served in public sector roles with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the U.S. Navy, as well as private sector roles with companies including Booz Allen Hamilton, TeamHealth, First Data Corporation, and General Electric.   

“Bryon brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the RH-ISAC, and we are thrilled to have him on board,” said Suzie Squier, president of the RH-ISAC. “He has been an RH-ISAC member and has worked for both retail and hospitality organizations, including QVC (now Quarate Retail Group) and Starwood, bringing a unique user’s perspective to this role in addition to his professional skills.”

Hundley holds a master’s degree in Information Assurance and Security, a bachelor’s degree in Network Security and Forensics, numerous certifications including CISSP, as well as certifications from the Committee on National Security Systems. He has also completed numerous trainings through the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and RSA.
